At Sommers Organic™, we control every aspect of the supply chain with full traceability. We guarantee 100% safe, ethical, humane practices and take full responsibility of our products.
We thought we'd share with you the details of that process:
Farm/Ranch : Strictly following the USDA organic guidelines, Sommers Organic™ animals live a free-range life, with fresh air, water, sunshine and 100% grassfed.
They are raised without the use of hormones and antibiotics.

Slaughter House :
We assure you that our animals are humanely slaughtered following strict organic policies and standards.
Cutting Plant :
Once at the plant, Sommers Organic™ meat is butchered into either grinds or cuts that you will find at the store.
- Our raw-fresh meats are packed and distributed immediately to stores.
- Our raw-frozen meats may either go directly to the store or to the Sommers Organic warehouse.
- We confirm that we never use Carbon Monoxide or chemicals in our packaging.

Cooking Plant :
Our fully cooked meats are sent to our Cooking Plant. Here, we add best-quality organic ingredients to our meat recipes and never use additives or fillers. We cook our meats at low temperatures, under a vacuum, for long periods of time. The result leads to our Sommers Organic™ quality tenets:
- Pure : increases shelf life of the product without the use of any artificial preservatives or other chemicals.
- Great Taste : improves overall flavor, moisture and retention of natural juices, preserving the integrity of the meat.
- Healthy: preserves nutritional content; which is very important to today's health conscious society.

Warehouse :
At the warehouse, our meat is received directly from the farm or ranch and is ready to be taken to the plant for further butchering.
Travel from Warehouse to Supermarket :
After going through another thorough inspection and packaging requirements, Sommers Organic™ meats travel from our warehouse to the supermarket shelf.
At the Supermarket :
We work with the retailers to ensure that our products are at the required temperature in the cold cases and that the meat is properly managed to avoid out-dated expiration dates.
